Sacred Hospitality strategy for purpose-led founders and small businesses.
I help purpose-led founders and small business owners translate Sacred Hospitality into practical business structures: clearer offers, ethical pricing, stronger customer experience, values-aligned operations, and sustainable growth.
My work is for founders who want to make money without becoming extractive, serve people without abandoning themselves, and build businesses that feel hospitable, coherent, and alive.
Supporting restoration of right relationship between people, purpose, and profit.
Where has your business become too transactional?
Butter is my love letter to simple ingredients and soulful baking.
In the forests of Michiana and beyond, I guide people back to themselves.
Where I rescue cloth and imagine new stories for it.
A gathering place for people who yearn to explore spirituality, intuitive arts, herbalism, sacred geometry and eco‑spiritual leadership.
I write to understand, to heal and to invite others into deeper reflection.
Our mission is to conserve old‑growth stands, plant native species, and educate communities about the healing benefits of trees.
Healing the land heals us.
Channeling and intuitive readings are ways of listening beyond words.
Our Founder
Karen Joy is a writer, speaker, facilitator, and guide whose work centers on helping people reconnect with their true joyful nature.
Through nature-based wellness, storytelling, spiritual practice, leadership, and intuitive guidance, she creates spaces where individuals and organizations can return to what is sacred, essential, and alive. Her work bridges the practical and the mystical—inviting deeper relationship with self, community, and the living world.
Stop performing, start remembering...
As an ANFT-Certified Forest Therapy Guide, public speaker, spiritual mentor, intuitive reader, and facilitator, Karen works at the intersection of contemplation and action. She leads forest bathing experiences, retreats, reflective gatherings, speaking engagements, and transformational conversations designed to restore presence, reciprocity, and belonging.
Her work also extends through writing and publishing, executive and organizational consulting, handcrafted fiber arts, and Butter, her bespoke bakeshop—each expression rooted in the same mission: helping people remember who they are beneath performance, pressure, and expectation.
A defining chapter of Karen’s life was her experience with federal incarceration, a short season that stripped away identity, certainty, and the illusion of control. What emerged was not defeat, but clarity: a deeper understanding that joy is not indulgence—it is remembrance. That even in the hardest places, the sacred self remains.
This truth shapes everything she creates.
Karen’s leadership extends beyond entrepreneurship through her service with Lions Clubs International, where she served as District Governor, and through her broader commitment to helping build a more compassionate, connected, and sacred-centered community.
She believes healing begins when we stop performing and start remembering.
Thank you for exploring Karen Joy Ventures. Each venture is a prayer and a practice. Whether you’re sipping tea with a shortbread cookie, walking barefoot on a forest path, wearing a hand‑stitched garment or listening to guidance from beyond, may you feel the Sacred thread connecting us all.
With love, Karen Joy
